Associate Director
David is a seasoned senior executive and advisor with over 20 years’ experience supporting Boards, CEOs and senior leadership teams across local government, energy, emergency services, sport and the arts sectors.
He has a strong track record in improving organisational performance, strengthening governance frameworks and delivering financially sustainable outcomes within complex and highly regulated environments.
David has held Chief Executive Officer and senior corporate leadership roles within local government and the energy sector, where he has led major transformation initiatives, long-term financial planning reforms and organisation wide capability reviews. He has extensive experience advising Boards, executive teams and Elected Members on strategic planning, financial sustainability, governance and asset management.
David is recognised for his strong commercial judgement, analytical capability and his ability to translate complex challenges into practical, implementable solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
In addition to his executive leadership roles, David has significant non-executive board experience across the not-for-profit, emergency services, arts and sporting sectors, providing governance oversight, financial stewardship and strategic direction to support long-term organisational sustainability.
